ABSTRACT

Serendipity means the faculty of getting fortunate and unexpected discoveries by mishaps. Penicillin, Xray, Viagra, Teflon are common cases known as accidental discoveries in science. The stories of those discoveries happen to be interesting and meaningful. Xray for medical diagnosis and treatment, miracle drug penicillin, Viagra to be treated of erection dysfunction, Teflon intended for frying pans, all of these discoveries make the life fantastic. Most of those who have been blessed by serendipity are not unwilling to confess their good fortunate, although serendipity will not diminish the credit credited them for making the finding. Famous Scientist Pasteur and Nobel laureate Paul Flory described serendipity as discoveries made by " by accident and sagacity”. They will expressed it " In the field of observation, probability favors the particular prepared brain. ” The value of the analyze is how you can turn accidents become discoveries. Cases of serendipity in science technology are shown in this thesis.
